The goal was to improve the environment for the patients that we’re working with, but also the psychological, the physical and the clinical outcome within our hospitals.”
The design is solved to give the customer a sense of escape to the outside world. The goal was to make a perfect fusion between the beautiful traditional Japanese rooms and the current modern architecture.
Each area is divided by a traditional translucent Japanese division that provides clarity and breadth, while giving a sense of privacy to each space. The surface of the walls in neutral colors create a feeling of purity and unification. Tiles and stone textures provide a warm and sophisticated space and connect the natural world.
